We wanted to demonstrate our AI/NLP capabilities with a practical, high-value tool that users would actually want to use. The challenge was building something that feels like magic (instant, intelligent analysis) while running entirely client-side to address privacy concerns around uploading resumes to unknown servers.
We engineered a heuristic-based NLP scoring engine that runs entirely in the browser. The analyzer extracts text from PDF/DOCX files, tokenizes content, matches against industry-standard ATS keyword databases, evaluates formatting and structure, and produces a comprehensive score with section-by-section feedback. All processing happens client-side — zero data leaves the user's browser.
